Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information about you when you visit virayo.com, who receives it, and what you can do about it. It covers this website. It does not cover the client portal or the platform, which are governed by the agreement between Virayo and the client organization.

Who we are

Virayo is a B2B search marketing agency founded in 2018, based in the United States. For anything in this policy, reach us at sales@virayo.com.

The short version

This site has no contact forms and no login. We run web analytics to see which pages get read and where readers come from, and that is the extent of it. We do not run visitor identification software, we do not try to work out your name or email address from your visit, and we do not run advertising or retargeting pixels. If you want us to know who you are, you have to tell us.

Information collected automatically

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages people read and how they arrived. This records things like pages viewed, time on page, referring source, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and a randomly assigned identifier stored in a cookie. That identifier is not tied to your name, and we do not attempt to link it to one. Google processes this data on our behalf. See Google's privacy policy.

Hosting and security

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request data such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Fonts

Most fonts are served from our own domain. One typeface is requested from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is disclosed to Google when that request is made.

Information you give us

If you book a call, the scheduling is handled by Calendly, and you provide your name, email address, and whatever you write in the booking notes. Calendly processes that as a service provider to us. See Calendly's privacy policy. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.

Cookies and similar technologies

The cookies on this site come from the analytics described above. You can block or delete them in your browser settings. Blocking them will not break anything, since nothing here requires a login.

How we use information

To operate and improve the site, to understand which content is useful, to measure marketing at an aggregate level, to respond when you contact us, and to meet legal and security obligations.

Who we share it with

The service providers named above, each processing data for the purpose described. We also share information with professional advisors, and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. Booking records and business contact details are kept while they are relevant to a current or potential engagement, and deleted on request. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the relationship or required for records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale or sharing and of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these. California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and residents of the EEA and the UK have equivalent rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of them, email sales@virayo.com with what you are asking for. We will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent. We will not charge you for a reasonable request.

Your choices

• Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which works across every site that uses Google Analytics.
• Cookies: block or clear them in your browser settings.
• Email: ask us to stop contacting you and we will.

International transfers

Virayo operates from the United States, and the services described above process data in the United States and other countries. If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when what we do changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
