MYOB is a leading business management platform with a core purpose of helping more businesses in Australia and New Zealand start, survive and succeed. It delivers end-to-end business, financial and accounting solutions direct to businesses employing between 0 and 1000 employees, alongside a network of accountants, bookkeepers and consultants.
The company reached out to Virayo for help to scale content production across its new guides directory, as well as building backlinks to high-value assets in need of ranking improvements.

Approach
We collaborated on an SEO and content strategy that helped MYOB scale keyword-driven content production, and secured backlinks to guide, feature and solution pages.
Process
- Technical content audit: We extracted all the “indexable” content from the site and assigned one of four page-level action items: keep, remove, improve, or consolidate. The goal was to eliminate “dead-weight” content and competing assets, while flagging existing content we could optimise for improved rankings, traffic, and/or conversions.
- Content production: We helped MYOB scale content output by providing 10+ content assets per month for the new guides directory. This included both new drafts and content relaunches for existing assets.
- Internal link audit: We provided internal link recommendations to strengthen topical authority within different categories of the main resources directory.
- Link building: We built backlinks to select assets to help accelerate ranking improvements for strategic keywords.
